Grand Chase gameplay is primarily keyboard-driven when your in battle or dungeon, and in some part of the game uses mouse, and their are some key commands can be user-defined. The game usually a side-scrolling MMORPG fighting game and the appearance and design of the backdrops, characters and monster, puts the game in an epic setting.
